Q1.  Does the Social Welfare Department provide residential facility for the care of the senior citizens?
Ans:  The Department runs social security residential Homes at the following three different locations:-

Home For Aged and Infirm Persons, Tilak Vihar, Delhi Phone : 28332323
Home for Senior Citizens, Kalkaji,New Delhi ,Phone :26218940
Old Age Home , Sector-8, Dwarka, New Delhi

Q2. Who is eligible?
Ans: Any Senior Citizen who is not suffering from any communicable disease having no shelter or income may apply for admission in Old Age Home.

Q3. How to get admission in these institutions?
Ans: Admission in Old Age Home is given on applying on the prescribed form either in the office of the Old Age Home itself or in the office of the respective District Social Welfare Officer or in the office of Dy Director (Social Security) at Head Quarter.
